Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant/Carer to provide dedicated support to an individual female in their daily lives. The role involves assisting with personal care, managing appointments, and supporting independence within a home setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a caring attitude to enhance the quality of life for those in their care. Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Managing and updating personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Organising appointments, medication schedules, and social activities
- Driving clients to appointments, errands, or social engagements as required
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery
- Household duties
Qualifications
- Experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients safely to various locations
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care documentation
- Compassionate nature with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required

This position is for 18 to 20 hours per week and holiday and sickness cover.
The position will go on to include on call night time hours and/or sleep in.
