Administrative & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Kilconquhar Castle Estate is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and reliable Administrative & Marketing Assistant to support our Reservations & Marketing Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience within a busy hospitality, tourism, and events business. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
Working closely with the Reservations & Marketing Manager, you will gain experience across a wide range of business functions including reservations, marketing, website management, reporting, guest communications, and business administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the administration of accommodation reservations and guest enquiries
- Monitoring booking reports and assisting with the preparation of management information
- Supporting guest communications by preparing and sending emails and correspondence
- Assisting with website content updates, special offers, accommodation information, and event pages
- Helping maintain the accuracy of online information across the estate's digital platforms
- Supporting marketing activities including social media content, promotional campaigns, and business listings
- Assisting with the administration of events, special offers, and seasonal promotions
- Helping prepare spreadsheets, reports, and business documentation
- Assisting with rota administration and general office organisation
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Supporting a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks across the business as required

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software would be advantageous but is not essential
Previous administrative, marketing, hospitality, or customer service experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Hours & Benefits
- Part-time position
- A minimum of 4 shifts per week is required
- Typical working hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Shifts will be scheduled between Tuesday and Saturday
- While we will try to accommodate other commitments where reasonably possible, the role requires attendance across a minimum of 4 working days per week and hours cannot be condensed into fewer days
- Additional hours may be available for candidates seeking more work through shifts within our Reception & Guest Services team
