SEMI-SKILLED LABOURER
Full Time | 4-Day Week | Central Scotland | Immediate Start
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Semi Skilled Labourer to join our team for an immediate start.
We carry out a wide range of residential construction work, including extensions, renovations, general building and joinery projects. You will work alongside our experienced groundworkers, joiners and builders, assisting with and carrying out a variety of tasks across our projects.
This role would suit someone who already has construction experience, is practically minded and is comfortable getting involved in different areas of a project.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Assisting our joiners, builders and groundworkers
- General building and labouring work
- Basic joinery and construction tasks
- Groundworks and landscaping
- Demolition and strip out works
- Site preparation
- Moving, preparing and organising materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Keeping sites clean, safe and organised
- Collecting materials when required
- Working in customers' homes and occupied properties
- Carrying out a varied range of tasks depending on the project
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction experience is essential
- Good practical ability
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Hardworking with a good attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to get involved in different types of work
- Professional and respectful when working in customers' properties
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Must meet our company vehicle insurance requirements
Hours & Benefits
- 4-day working week – Monday to Thursday
- 7:30am – 5:30pm

Location & Travel
Our office and yard are based in Stirling, with projects carried out across Central Scotland.
Applicants must be able to make their own way to our yard, office or designated job site for the required start time.
We do not provide a daily pick up and drop off service.
Trial & Probationary Period
A trial period will form part of our recruitment process to ensure the role is suitable for both parties.
The successful applicant will then be subject to an initial three month probationary period. Continued permanent employment will be subject to successfully completing this period.
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £12.71-£13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
