About the Role
We are a brand-new African Takeaway opening tm in Scarborough! We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Kitchen Assistant (18+) to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with food prep & packing authentic African dishes
Front-of-house customer service & order taking
Operating the till & handling cash/card payments
Keeping the kitchen and service area clean, hygienic, and spotless
What We’re Looking For
High standards of personal hygiene & food safety
Strong work ethic, punctual, and reliable
Friendly attitude and great communication skills
Passion for food and customer service
Knowledge of African cuisine is a bonus, but full training will be provided!)
