Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wrexham from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about delivering engaging science lessons and helping students achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Science department.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligibility to register.
