Warehouse Operative
Aquatix-2u Ltd is a family-owned and operated e-commerce retailer specialising in the sale and distribution of Aquatic, Pet and Home & Leisure products.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our established warehouse team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment. Whilst the majority of duties involve order picking, packing and general warehouse operations, applicants with previous forklift experience are encouraged to apply, particularly those with Flexi Truck/Flexi-Steer experience.
Working Hours
5 days per week:
- Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
What We're Looking For
Whilst no formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided we are looking for applicants with previous warehouse experience.
Successful applicants will be:
- Highly self-motivated and dependable
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to measured targets
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Hard-working with an excellent attendance and timekeeping record
- Positive team players who can work well in a fast-paced environment
Forklift experience is also welcomed, particularly Flexi Truck/Flexi-Steer experience. However please be aware this role is primarily focused on general warehouse operations rather than dedicated forklift driving.
Due to our location and operating hours, public transport is not a reliable commuting option. Applicants must therefore have their own means of transport.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders for courier collection
- Receiving and booking in stock deliveries
- Unloading containers and inbound deliveries
- Replenishing warehouse stock locations
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse organisation and housekeeping
- Supporting general warehouse activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
- Following company procedures and maintaining excellent health and safety standards
- Operating warehouse equipment where appropriately trained and authorised

Salary
£10.85 - £13.20 based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: £10.85-£13.20 per hour
