Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift / General Operatives to join our busy and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, general warehouse duties, ensuring the Yard is safe clean and tidy at all times, loading and unloading vehicles and delivering goods/supporting fitters out on the road. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to perform daily tasks to a high level, along with the willingness to learn the fitting side of the business. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with forklift license, looking to up skill themselves and learn.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently within the warehouse and yard areas
- Load and unload goods from lorries, containers, and storage areas
- Manage materials handling using warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods
- Support warehouse organisation by stacking, storing, and retrieving stock as required
- Perform routine safety checks on equipment and maintain a clean, organised work environment
- Assist with yard duties including vehicle movement and general site maintenance
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- MUST hold a Valid UK driving license as you will be required to be out on the road driving one of the companies vans.
Hours
0600-1400 Monday to Friday
MUST HOLD A VALID UK DRIVING LICENSE!!!
