We are recognised for offering far more than just great food, with a busy restaurant alongside takeaway, bakery, deli, retail and locally sourced Scottish produce, all under one roof.
As a family-run business with a strong reputation, we continue to invest in our food, hospitality and retail offering. An exciting new extension is currently under construction and, when completed in the coming months, will introduce a completely reimagined Deli & Food Hall, featuring an expanded food-to-go offering, artisan bakery, premium coffee and a brand-new ice cream and dessert counter.

Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Hall Team Member, ideally on a full-time, permanent basis.
Initially, you'll become part of our existing food-to-go operation, learning our products, standards and the way we work. When our new Deli & Food Hall opens, you'll then transition into the new department and have the opportunity to be part of establishing the customer experience in a completely new space.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You'll welcome and serve customers, prepare fresh food and drinks, create attractive displays and help ensure the department remains welcoming, efficient and beautifully presented throughout the day.
Above all, we're looking for someone who is naturally friendly, enjoys working with customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. Previous experience is welcome, but attitude, reliability and the ability to work well with others are just as important to us.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service
- Serving customers across our deli and food-to-go offering
- Preparing sandwiches, rolls, salads and other freshly prepared food-to-go products
- Preparing and serving teas, coffees and other hot drinks
- Supporting our new ice cream and dessert counter once the extension opens
- Presenting and replenishing bakery, deli and chilled displays to a consistently high standard
- Confidently recommending products and assisting customers with enquiries
- Operating tills and processing customer transactions accurately
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring products are correctly labelled, stored and attractively displayed
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the department
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times
- Supporting colleagues across the wider food service team where required
About You
We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous hospitality, café, deli, retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Has barista or coffee machine experience (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours
- Ideally full-time, approximately 35–40 hours per week
- A mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
- Part-time applications may also be considered for the right candidate
