Summary
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Soap Production Operative to join our friendly production team.
This is a physical, practical role where you'll be involved in every stage of the soap-making process. From preparing raw materials through to producing finished soap, you'll learn how to operate our production machinery, carry out product changeovers and help ensure every product meets our high quality standards.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality work and is happy following established processes and procedures.
Essential Functions/Competencies
- Processing raw materials into finished soap products.
- Learning to operate all machinery across the production line.
- Running different stages of the production process from start to finish.
- Carrying out product changeovers.
- Packing finished products ready for the next stage of production.
- Following production procedures and quality standards.
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
- Following Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures
Job Requirements/Education and Experience
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work well as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Comfortable following processes and instructions.
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
