Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our caring team at Milkwood Care Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Your contribution will help us uphold our commitment to quality care and resident well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all communal areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Support the smooth daily operation of the home by maintaining cleanliness throughout.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to uphold the home's high standards.
- Contribute to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning roles.
- Experience in healthcare or elder care environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the home.
