Who are we?
SE Recycling Ltd is a leading UK provider of sustainable IT asset management, secure data destruction, WEEE recycling and battery recycling solutions. Since our founding in 2013, we have grown from specialising in redundant IT and mobile technology to managing a broader range of end-of-life electronic equipment and batteries for organisations across the UK.
Guided by our “refurbish first, recycle last” philosophy and zero-tolerance approach to landfill, we ensure assets are handled safely, securely and responsibly, prioritising reuse and material recovery wherever possible.
As we continue to grow across the IT and battery sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and develop your career in a fast-growing, sustainable industry.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking with people and thrives in a busy office environment. You will communicate with clients daily, so strong customer service skills and good sales instincts are more important than previous industry experience. We will provide full training on the technical aspects of batteries and recycling.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the day-to-day link between our B2B customers and the people who collect and process their redundant IT equipment and batteries. That means arranging collections, preparing quotations, keeping our records accurate and giving the Sales Manager the support they need to keep the pipeline moving.

- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers to support business growth and customer retention.
Looking after customers
- Liaise with current and potential clients daily by telephone and email, providing a professional and responsive service.
- Confirm customer collections via email and maintain clear communication regarding collection arrangements.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and direct queries to the appropriate team members where necessary.
- Ensure all customer communications are handled professionally and in accordance with company standards.
Keeping the operation running
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and correspondence within the company systems.
- Assist the Sales Manager with administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, reports and customer information.
- Provide administrative support for the IT, WEEE and Battery Collections department.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
- Support the sales team with general administrative duties as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
