Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages and products from the van
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher or supervisor
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent customer service
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Qualifications:
- Must have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to drive and operate a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading packages
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices
Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
