Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. This position offers full training. Shift pattern is Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm. However these hours may need to be flexible depending on work load. Overtime may be available on Fridays if needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate various production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with assembly processes, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area at all times.
- Support warehouse activities such as stock movement, inventory checks, and packaging as required.
- Use of pallet truck - Training provided
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately under supervision.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks as needed in this fast-paced role.
