Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organised Administrator to join our team. This is a vital position within the company, supporting both daily operations and long-term goals through efficient administrative support. You will work closely with team members and management to ensure that business processes run smoothly, paperwork is managed accurately, and all internal and external communications are handled professionally. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Experience in the transport industry is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails; handle queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks including filing, document preparation, data entry, and scheduling
- Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Assist and prepare financial and invoicing tasks using tools like Microsoft Office
- Coordinate and support meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points
- Support other departments with admin tasks to ensure deadlines and business goals are met
- Maintain a well-organised office environment and ensure office supplies are stocked
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with accounting or business software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
Working Hours
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm
