Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Payroll Administrator Apprentice to join our organisation. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in payroll administration. The successful candidate will support the payroll team by assisting with data entry, analysing payroll data, and maintaining accurate records using industry-standard software.
There are no age restrictions for this role.
The role will be 30 hours per week (all paid). 24 hours per week will be spent in the office (Monday to Thursday) and 6 hours will be spent studying from home (online).
You will be given full on the job training, in line with Apprenticeship framework standards.
REQUIREMENTS
4 GCSE Level 5 (C) or above including Maths and English
Highly Numerate
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within a small team
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent IT skills
No previous payroll experience is required, as full training will be given.

DUTIES
Processing Payroll for a variety of clients (Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly payrolls)
Workplace pension Administration
Dealing with client queries by email and phone
General office/administration duties
Initially the role will be 30 hours per week. 6 hours of this will be studying.
You will be given full on the job training, in line with Apprenticeship framework standards.
