Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team with over 35 years trading , operating in the South East of England . Driving License for 3.5 tonne dropsides is a Bonus. Overtime is possible on a regular basis . In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures that ensure the safety and efficiency of various construction projects. Your expertise will help facilitate safe working environments at heights, enabling other trades to perform their tasks effectively. Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly for stability, integrity, and safety compliance
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan scaffold layouts that optimize access and safety
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding frameworks efficiently
- Ensure all scaffolding work adheres to local safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of scaffold inspections, modifications, and safety checks
- Assist with the fabrication of custom scaffold components when necessary using welding and fabrication techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling on construction sites
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and fabrication
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Familiarity with safety standards related to working at heights and scaffold structures
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications in scaffolding or construction safety are a plus but not mandatory
