About Ever After Events
Ever After Events is a growing entertainment company based in Saltash, Cornwall, specialising in creating unforgettable character experiences and entertainment for children and families.
We already have an established team of six fantastic princess performers and are now looking to expand our team as we continue to grow. We see ourselves as a sisterhood, of supportive and kind friends.
From children's birthday parties and private events to larger community events and special appearances, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality entertainment, incredible customer service and truly magical experiences.
About the role
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and talented Princess Character Performer to join our growing team.
This role is so much more than simply putting on a costume. We are looking for someone who can truly bring a character to life, interact confidently with children and create unforgettable memories for families.
You will attend children's parties, events and special appearances, remaining in character and delivering a fun, engaging and professional experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing as a variety of princess and fairytale-inspired characters
- Attending children's birthday parties, private events and special appearances
- Singing, dancing and entertaining children
- Leading games, activities and interactive experiences
- Staying in character throughout appearances
- Interacting confidently with children, parents and families
- Learning songs, scripts, activities and character mannerisms
- Attending rehearsals and training sessions
- Working alongside our existing team of performers
- Representing Ever After Events professionally at all times
- Travelling from our Saltash base to events across Cornwall, Plymouth and surrounding areas
We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident, bubbly and enthusiastic
- Loves performing and entertaining
- Is fantastic with children
- Has experience or a strong interest in acting, singing or dancing
- Has a good imagination and can confidently stay in character
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Works well as part of a team
- Is happy working weekends and occasional evenings
- Is willing to attend rehearsals and training
- Is able to travel to our Saltash base and events where required
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for personality, confidence, professionalism and a genuine passion for creating magical experiences.
