Duties
- Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular surveillance patrols around the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and identifying potential security risks.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance logs to ensure accurate documentation.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Collaborate with local emergency responders during incidents to facilitate quick resolution and safety assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to operate CCTV cameras confidently and conduct visual inspections of the premises.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and the ability to identify suspicious behavior effectively.
- Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable to respond appropriately during medical emergencies.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
