The Bursary is responsible for maintaining an efficient, organised, and accurate support function for the School. The Bursary Assistant - Recruitment & Admin will work closely with the Bursary team to deliver a high-quality, professional, and compliant HR and recruitment service, alongside providing general administrative support. The post holder will have (or is willing to work towards) a solid understanding of HR, recruitment and admin. Having worked or currently working in an educational setting would be seen as advantageous, however, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus a desire to work in a small but friendly team are essential.
Key Information
This position is offered on a year-round basis, Monday to Friday, with working hours structured according to experience. For a qualified or experienced candidate, we offer a part-time pattern of 25 to 30 hours per week (5 to 6 hours daily with a 30 minute unpaid break), with flexibility on start and finish times. Alternatively, for someone earlier in their career looking to build practical skills, we offer a full-time route of 37.5 hours per week, worked between 8:30am and 5:00pm daily with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Exact hours and daily schedules will be agreed upon during the interview process based on the successful applicant’s background and role requirements.
The ideal start date for this role is as soon as possible. However, we can be flexible about the start date if needed.
