About CitCom
Since 1987, we've been helping businesses bring their ideas to life through creative design, digital experiences and memorable events that make an impact. Over the years, we've built long-lasting relationships with clients across a wide range of industries by delivering work we're proud of and always putting our clients first.
One thing we're particularly known for is our responsiveness. Our clients trust us to deliver high-quality creative work quickly, without compromising on creativity, attention to detail or service. It's a balance we've worked hard to achieve, and one we're incredibly proud of.
We're a small team, which means everyone has a voice and every contribution matters. We work closely together, support one another and genuinely enjoy what we do. We celebrate the wins, learn from the challenges and believe that producing great work should be enjoyable too.
About the Role
We're looking for a talented Creative Designer to join our team on an initial part-time basis (3 days per week).
The role is office-based in Kidderminster, Tuesday to Thursday, working closely alongside our Senior Creative Designer and Client Relationship Manager to deliver creative work across a diverse portfolio of clients.
As a small, collaborative agency, we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is proactive in their approach and is happy to get involved across a variety of projects. As our client base continues to grow, there is potential for this role to develop into a full-time position, subject to business needs and workload.
Due to the nature of the role, we'll also need someone who is flexible and willing to provide additional cover during periods of annual leave, particularly to support our Senior Creative Designer and help ensure continuity across client projects, alongside the Client Relationship Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative assets across digital, print and social media.
- Interpret client briefs alongside the Client Relationship Manager and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
- Work collaboratively with the Client Relationship Manager and the Senior Creative Designer to develop creative solutions that meet client objectives.
- Be comfortable working across a diverse range of clients, industries and project types. One day you may be developing a complete brand identity, the next supporting our CEO with exhibition stand graphics or designing campaign assets. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and enjoy the variety of agency work is essential.
- Produce artwork ready for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Present creative ideas and design rationale with confidence, both internally and, where appropriate, directly to clients.
- Amend artwork following client feedback while maintaining design integrity, while also having the confidence to professionally challenge feedback where appropriate and explain the reasoning behind your design decisions.
- Ensure all work aligns with clients' brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Stay up to date with design trends, software developments and emerging creative techniques.
- Contribute ideas during creative brainstorming sessions and proactively suggest innovative approaches.
- Where appropriate, attend client meetings, industry events and events directly associated with creative design to support the wider team and continue professional development.
