Overview
We are seeking an experienced sous chef to join our team in preparing delicious and high-quality meals in a successful village bar and restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and cooking activities.
- Stand in for the head chef when they are away.
- Work with the owners to deliver an outstanding menu.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
- Potential to supervise kitchen staff as the business grow and develop into head chef for another location.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary arts
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations

Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
