Person Specification
An experienced marketing professional with strong events-management capabilities.
Proactive, organised and able to anticipate requirements without needing constant direction.
Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with detailed, hands-on delivery.
Diplomatic, resilient and able to exercise sound judgement in a demanding environment.
An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong attention to detail.
Commercially aware and comfortable contributing ideas
Key Responsibilities
Taking ownership of Chambers’ programme of client events, seminars and other profile-building activities.
Planning events from inception through to completion, including venues, invitations, communications, materials, suppliers and attendance.
Coordinating marketing activity across Chambers’ principal practice areas.
Supporting the preparation and implementation of practice-group business plans.
Contributing to annual reports and budgets.
Producing and coordinating high-quality written and digital marketing communications.
Maintaining Chambers’ website and mailing activity
Professional Qualifications
Experience of WordPress, Mailchimp and Adobe applications would be ideal.
Experience in a barristers’ chambers, law firm or comparable professional services environment.
Above all, applicants must demonstrate the sound judgement, diplomacy and relationship-building skills required to succeed in a complex professional environment.
