Do you want to join a successful and growing company? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join Northern Group. A thriving, market-leading property business operating in one of Manchester's most vibrant and fastest-growing neighbourhoods, Ancoats Urban Village.
We operate across residential, commercial and co-working brands and are looking for a motivated individual to join our established Property Management team. Previous property experience is desirable, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in people who demonstrate the right attitude, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to learning and progressing. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Working closely with our established Property, Facilities and Accounts teams, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our existing residential portfolio, delivering a high standard of service to our clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advertise a variety of modern and well maintained properties.
- Reference tenants in line with company standards and collate all relevant documentation.
- Produce tenancy agreements and accompanying documents.
- Carry out check-in inventories, including photographs, and oversee handovers to new tenants.
- Register tenants for utilities and council tax.
- Carry out regular property inspections in line with the company schedule.
- Coordinate works with our internal Maintenance team and approved external contractors, taking responsibility for progressing issues and keeping tenants, landlords and other stakeholders updated throughout.
- Review rents on a regular basis to achieve the best returns for landlords.
- Manage end-of-tenancy dates.
- Process end-of-tenancy costs and deposit refunds.
- Serve legal notices when required.
- Carry out various administrative tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all systems.

Requirements:
- Previous property or community management experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong transferable experience from customer service, hospitality, administration, operations or another fast-paced environment will also be considered.
- A genuine willingness to learn, accept responsibility and develop within the role.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
