We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent, focused Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT). You must be registered with the GPhC and have at least 2 year's experience as an ACT, in which a bulk of your duties would have been to accurately check medication, already clinically checked by a Pharmacist, prior to handing to a patient.
You will be joining an experienced, dedicated and supportive team who are committed to serving the local community.
Your duties will include;
- Conducting the final accuracy check for prescriptions that have been clinically checked by a Pharmacist.
- Applying legal, professional and ethical judgement to all processes in the pharmacy, ensuring that patient safety in maintained.
- Supporting staff within the dispensary and on the counter, providing a friendly, efficient, informative service.
- Supporting all aspects of the dispensing processes from recieving prescriptions through to the final accuracy checks prior to handing out to the patient.
- Supporting the Pharmacist in providing the community with new and existing essential and advanced services.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
