We are looking for a proactive, creative and highly organised Marketing Officer to support the delivery of marketing activity across Momentous Learning and Skills Office Network.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of multiple projects and working across digital marketing, content creation, website management, SEO, Paid campaigns, and brand development.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will help deliver day-to-day marketing activity, manage assigned projects and ensure campaigns are completed accurately and on time. The role requires someone who is confident working independently once priorities have been agreed, while also being comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback and supporting wider marketing plans.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build broad marketing experience across two growing brands within the education, training and consultancy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Marketing in delivering marketing campaigns across Momentous Learning and Skills Office Network
- Coordinate agreed campaign activities, deadlines and materials
- Prepare campaign content and promotional assets
- Help launch and promote new programmes, services and events
- Maintain campaign trackers and provide regular progress updates
- Monitor campaign performance and highlight key findings
- · Create and schedule content for company social media channels, primarily LinkedIn
- Produce branded graphics, short videos and other visual assets
- Write and edit social media posts, website copy, blogs and promotional content
- Support the creation of learner stories, employer testimonials and case studies
- Maintain social media and content calendars
- Ensure content follows company tone of voice and brand guidelines
- Respond to feedback and revise content where required
Website Management
- Update website pages, course information, blogs and landing pages
- Upload and format new content using company website platforms
- Check website content for accuracy, consistency and broken links
- Support improvements to website layout and user journey
- Assist with maintaining the Momentous Learning Academy platform
- Liaise with internal colleagues to collect updated programme and service information
SEO
- Carry out keyword and competitor research
- Identify relevant backlink and partnership opportunities
- Research suitable organisations and decision-makers for outreach
- Maintain backlink research and SEO tracking spreadsheets
- Support the optimisation of website pages and blogs
- Monitor website visibility using tools such as SEMrush and Google Search Console
- Provide updates on SEO activity and progress
Email Marketing
- Build and schedule email campaigns using Brevo or similar platforms
- Format email copy and visual content
- Maintain and organise contact databases
- Support audience segmentation and campaign targeting
- Monitor open rates, click-through rates and engagement
- Support follow-up campaigns based on performance
Marketing Operations & Creative Support
- Create brochures, presentations, social media graphics and other marketing materials
- Support webinars, events and promotional campaigns
- Assist with recording, editing and publishing video content
- Maintain brand assets, templates and marketing resources
- Conduct market, competitor and audience research
- Maintain marketing trackers, contact databases and campaign records
- Coordinate marketing approvals and support general marketing administration
- Carry out additional duties appropriate to the role
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing or communications role (including internships, placements or freelance work)
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Highly adaptable and able to respond quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills
- Experience creating content using Canva, Adobe Express or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and common digital marketing platforms
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools and marketing techniques
- Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable:
- Experience within the apprenticeships, education or training sector
- Experience managing websites or using CMS platforms (e.g. Wix and WordPress)
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics or Google Search Console
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Brevo or Mailchimp
- Experience creating short-form video content for social media
- Understanding of LinkedIn marketing
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to support marketing activitiy

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
