Job Overview
4 Hours Per Week- Tuesday & Thursday (2 hours each shift) 4.30-6.30PM
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Cleaner based in Preston. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness for a commercial client. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, although training will be provided for the right applicant.
Duties
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitising surfaces to meet health and safety standards
- Restocking supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products as required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and stored appropriately after use
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to client-specific instructions and confidentiality agreements at all times

Skills
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and time management to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude and good communication skills
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
