Job Overview:
We are seeking a team of skilled and customer-oriented Bartender's / Server's to join our brand new restaurant. As the customer facing role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests from greeting and seating to taking orders and answering questions to preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Greet customers and seat at their tables
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Take food and drink orders (maximising sales where possible)
- Deliver food and drink to the customer
- Ensure customers are satisfied with their experience
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area / seating areas / waiter stations
- Maintain stock levels throughout the different areas of the restaurant
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Engage with guests and address any concerns or inquiries
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
- Proven knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44-£12.75 per hour
