We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Live-In Carers to join our team supporting clients in their own homes.
This role operates on a week-on, week-off live-in schedule, offering a balanced and supportive work pattern.
As a Live-In Carer, you will provide round-the-clock support to individuals with a range of care needs, while always respecting their dignity, privacy and independence. Client is a male living in the Manchester area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal and practical care to people with various illnesses, disabilities, or age-related needs.
- Supporting clients with daily routines such as getting up, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet.
- Assisting individuals with mobility challenges or physical disabilities, including the safe use of equipment, aids, and continence care.
- Offering compassionate end-of-life care where required.
- Encouraging mental and physical wellbeing by engaging in conversation, accompanying clients on outings, and supporting them with hobbies, reading, writing and other meaningful activities.
- Completing daily care records and maintaining accurate log-books.
- Participating in staff meetings, client reviews and training sessions when requested.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work continuously during your 7-day live-in week.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a home-based setting.
- A good level of spoken English to communicate clearly with clients, families and colleagues.
- Must have the legal Right to Work in the UK.
- Live in care experience (preferred)
