About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to work day shifts and join our team on an immediate start (depending on satisfactory checks). This is a full-time role offering 33 hours per week (1 hour per shift is unpaid for breaks). You’ll be working day shifts from 07:30am to 7:30pm, including some weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents during the day

Support and assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication to residents and maintain accurate records

Monitor and respond to residents’ needs throughout the day

Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns to senior staff
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing always
- Ensure the care home remains clean, safe, and comfortable at all times

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for residents
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working in a care role (preferred)

Holds a Care Certificate qualification (preferred)

Can administer medication
- Is kind, patient, respectful and empathetic with a genuine passion for supporting others

Has good communication and teamwork skills and committed to delivering high standards of care.

Can work independently and as part of a small team

Is comfortable with personal care tasks
