The Role
We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Design Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Civil or Mechanical Engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves a blend of design engineering and CNC programming, supporting the development of bespoke solutions from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the design team to produce 2D and 3D CAD models for manufacture.
- Translate designs into CNC machine programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise designs for manufacturability.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of design and production processes.
- Support project delivery from initial concept through to final product.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant quality, safety, and engineering standards.
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Strong interest in design for manufacture and engineering problem-solving.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
- Some knowledge of CNC machining and/or programming (training provided if needed).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
