We have a great opportunity for a Support Services Team Leader to join our team, based in Edgware and supporting healthcare sites across Central and North London. This customer-facing role is ideal for an experienced supervisor who can lead frontline teams, maintain high cleaning standards, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure excellent service delivery across multiple sites

5:30am to 1:30pm (2 days per week)

1:00pm to 9:00pm (3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities
As a Support Services Team Leader, you will oversee the daytoday operations across multiple sites, ensuring that services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise a team of Frontline colleagues, ensuring high standards of service delivery at all times.
- Plan workloads, manage rotas, oversee attendance, and arrange appropriate service cover.
- Monitor performance through audits, inspections and quality checks, taking action to maintain standards.
- Support recruitment, induction, training, development and performance management of team members.
- Manage timesheets, stock, equipment and service resources efficiently.
- Build positive relationships with customers, contractors and service users to ensure excellent service delivery
What We're Looking For

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within Facilities Management, Domestic Services, Cleaning, Hospitality or a similar environment.
- Strong communication, organisational and people management skills.
- Experience managing rotas, performance, attendance and service delivery standards.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Good IT skills and confidence using electronic systems and records.
- Flexible, proactive and able to adapt to the needs of the service.
- NVQ Level 3, relevant qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites when required

Can handle routine tasks and social interactions within a work environment. Ability to absorb policy and guidance necessary for the role.
Where you’ll be
The role covers sites across Central and North London, including locations such as Bloomsbury Health Centre, Crowndale, Finsbury, Laurels and East Barnet, along with other satellite sites within the region.
Desirable
- Experience within the NHS or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare cleaning standards and quality auditing processes.
