The role
We are looking for a practical and reliable General Handyperson to keep our Goole and Hull reconditioning sites safe, tidy and operational. You will work across both locations, with transport provided between sites, carrying out day-to-day repairs and general maintenance.
What you'll do
- Complete general DIY, repairs and installations across both sites
- Carry out painting, decorating and basic property maintenance
- Repair fences, gates, doors, fixtures and fittings
- Support external cleaning and general site upkeep
- Move tools, equipment and materials between sites as required
- Record completed work and follow risk assessments and health and safety procedures
What you'll bring
- Experience in property, facilities, building or site maintenance
- Practical skills in basic plumbing, joinery, decorating and general repairs
- A full UK driving licence, as travel between Goole and Hull is required
- A self-motivated, organised and flexible approach
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safe working
Working pattern
This is a 42-hour-per-week role, normally Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business. Transport will be provided for travel between the Goole and Hull sites.
