We are looking for Traffic Marshall/ Labourer to start in Abingdon
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing traffic flow in and out of site and communicating effectively with both drivers and pedestrians as well as helping with general duties on site.
£18 per hour. 8 hours a day
Site in the centre of Abingdon
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clear understanding of traffic regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Manage the flow of vehicles entering and exiting the site, ensuring safety at all times.
- Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians, providing directions and guidance as needed.
- Monitor the environment for potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Report any incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to traffic management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a traffic management or similar role is essential.
- Valid Traffic Marshall Ticket
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent observational skills to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
