Electrician
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning works across commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation work to a high standard in accordance with current regulations.
- Perform inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and relevant health and safety legislation.
- Complete job documentation, test certificates, and reports accurately.
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on site.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Inspection and Testing qualification (2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent) preferred or willing to obtain.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and current regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge and experience of fire alarm systems, including installation, testing, fault finding, and maintenance.
- Experience working on commercial electrical projects.
- Familiarity with emergency lighting systems and associated testing.
