As a Head Coach at Pathway Football, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality football programme that places player development at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions in line with the Pathway Football coaching philosophy and curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and challenging learning environment that supports the technical, tactical, physical and social development of every player.
- Manage your team on match days, including player selection, substitutions and in-game coaching, while promoting our club values and philosophy.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to support their ongoing development.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality and presentation at all times.
- Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and club staff to ensure consistency across the programme.

- Players enjoy training while showing measurable development.
- Match days are managed professionally, with equal focus on performance, learning and behaviour.

Essential Criteria
- UEFA C Licence (minimum requirement).
- Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before commencing employment).
- Valid FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
- Valid FA Emergency First Aid in Football qualification.
- Experience coaching children within grassroots, academy or school football.
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
