About the role
Source Supply are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rotherham. This is a full-time opportunity teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, ideal for a passionate teacher who is committed to inspiring pupils and helping them achieve their full potential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and creative lessons to a mixed Year 5/6 class.
· Plan, prepare and assess in line with the National Curriculum.
· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
· Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and support them in reaching their academic potential.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
- Demonstrate high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Be passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
· Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
· Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
· Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
· Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
· Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
