We are looking for an experienced Senior Waiter/ Waitress to take a leading role on the floor and help shape the standard of service every day.
About the role
This is a hands-on senior position within a busy, quality-driven brasserie.
As Senior Waiter, you are a steady presence during service. You run sections with confidence, support junior team members, and help maintain the pace and tone of the floor.
You work closely with management, kitchen, and bar to ensure service feels seamless.
Your role includes:
- Leading a section during busy services
- Supporting and mentoring junior waiters
- Delivering confident food and wine service
- Maintaining high standards while keeping the atmosphere relaxed
- Assisting with briefings, training, and daily floor organisation
- Anticipating challenges before they affect the guest experience
This isn’t about hierarchy. It’s about leadership through example.
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a quality restaurant
- Proven experience running a section independently
- Calm, organised, and confident under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food and wine
- A natural sense of hospitality and attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys lifting standards and supporting others
