Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
Sessions timing 16:25 to 18:00 £20/£25 per session
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support student development and address any challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and feedback to inform future sessions.
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting.
- Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields would be an advantage but are not essential for the right candidate.
