Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, including resident's rooms and communal spaces. This role requires the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Please note this role does require to work on weekends and hours for this role will be 9am to 6pm, 5 days out of 7.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in residents rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, and other common areas in the care home.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Respond promptly to resident requests for additional services or supplies.
- Assist with the preparation of dining areas when necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in care home cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- A proactive approach to work with excellent attention to detail is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Please note this role will be required to work some weekends.
