The role involves maintaining procurement records, processing purchase documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the procurement team in sourcing goods and services.
Role Overview:
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
- Follow up with merchants regarding deliveries and order status.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Handle general administrative duties within the procurement department
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing principles – preferred but not essentia .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
