Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Follow personalized care plans meticulously to meet each individual's specific needs and preferences
- Support clients in maintaining their health by monitoring vital signs and reporting any concerns promptly
- Engage in meaningful communication with clients, listening actively and providing emotional support
- Help with light household tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using simple IT systems and documentation practices
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings safely, ensuring their transportation needs are met efficiently
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care or outings (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand care plans and interact with clients
- Basic IT skills for recording care activities and updating client records accurately
- Strong communication skills to build trustful relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: £12.71-£18.67 per hour
