We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the integration and stabilisation of newly acquired businesses. Acting as interim Head of Finance for acquisitions, you’ll ensure financial control, regulatory compliance, and a smooth transition into the Group’s operating model, typically across multiple projects during the contract.
You’ll oversee finance and IBA activity for acquired businesses, ensuring stability, strong controls, and alignment with Group standards during integration.
Please note that this is initially a 12-month fixed term contract.
- Acting as interim Head of Finance for newly acquired entities, overseeing finance and IBA activity
- Managing financial reporting in line with FRS 102 and Group policies
- Overseeing IBA operations, including reconciliations, cash management and CASS 5 compliance
- Embedding robust financial controls, governance and audit readiness
- Supporting integration into Group systems, reporting cycles and accounting frameworks
- Managing cashflow, working capital and statutory/regulatory compliance
You’ll bring strong technical expertise with the confidence to operate at senior level in fast-paced, post-acquisition environments.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
- Experience operating at Head of Finance or Financial Controller level
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) financial reporting
- Proven experience within IBA/client money environments, including CASS 5
- Background in acquisitions, integrations or business stabilisation
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
