Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including staff management and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills to support the kitchen team.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food production costs to maximise profitability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service and enhance their skills in bartending, food preparation, and overall restaurant operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that align with current trends and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of individuals.
- Proficiency in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
