Experienced Screen Printer / Print Operative
Location: Glasgow City Centre (G3)

Bar One Clothing has been supplying high-quality printed and embroidered apparel for over 40 years. We work with some of the UK's best-known brands, retailers, promotional companies, events, charities and independent clothing labels, producing everything from small bespoke orders to large production runs.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Screen Printer to join our busy production team.
Working on M&R Challenger III automatic presses together with M&R manual presses, you'll be responsible for producing consistently high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating M&R Challenger III automatic presses and manual screen printing equipment
- Producing high-quality prints on a wide range of garments
- Printing using plastisol, water-based and speciality inks
- Mixing inks and colour matching where required
- Preparing screens and jobs for production
- Carrying out quality checks throughout every print run
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring excellent housekeeping standards
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining exceptional quality
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 12 months' commercial garment screen printing experience
- Has experience operating automatic and/or manual screen printing presses
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Speaks good English

Looking to Start Your Career?
Whilst priority will be given to experienced screen printers, we also operate an apprenticeship programme for applicants aged 17–21 who are looking to build a career in garment decoration. Full in-house training is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to Glasgow G3 or relocate before starting
- Previous commercial screen printing experience preferred
- GCSE (or equivalent) preferred
- Right to work in the UK
