Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Holmehurst Residential Home. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of care that our residents deserve.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health and well-being to senior staff.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Support residents with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care environment.
