Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Supervisor Barista to lead our dynamic coffee team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food and beverage preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties
- Supervise and motivate baristas and kitchen staff to deliver excellent service and high-quality food and beverages
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and cleanliness of the food prep area
- Train new team members on food safety protocols, serving techniques, and operational procedures
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or café setting with a focus on food production or beverage service
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques with a focus on quality control
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within fast-paced environments such as hotels or restaurants
- Extensive barista experience including knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage customization
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and kitchen operations
- Experience in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality skills
- Prior experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining operational standards in a restaurant or hotel setting
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
