Timber Technology is a leading bespoke joinery and carpentry company specialising in high-end, handcrafted projects including kitchens, dressing rooms, media walls, home offices, boot rooms, and unique fitted furniture.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Designer to join our friendly team at our workshop in Church Crookham, Fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their design skills within a specialist joinery environment.
The Role
As a Junior Designer, you will work closely with our design and workshop teams to produce accurate drawings for our bespoke projects. You will be involved from the early design stages through to production, helping bring our clients’ ideas to life.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed CAD drawings for bespoke joinery projects
- Creating production drawings and technical details for the workshop
- Preparing cutting lists and supporting documentation
- Working alongside our designers, joiners and project managers
- Making amendments to drawings following client feedback and design changes
- Ensuring drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacture
- Supporting the design team with ongoing projects
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about design, furniture, and craftsmanship
- Keen to develop their skills within the joinery industry
- Confident using CAD software (experience with SketchUp or similar would be beneficial)
- Detail-focused with excellent organisation skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and grow within the company
Previous experience in joinery, furniture design, interior design, or a related field would be advantageous, but we are also open to candidates at the beginning of their career who have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
