We are a busy and fast-paced fried chicken and smash burger takeaway committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly Takeaway Counter Assistantto join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking customer orders in person and over the phone
- Handling cash and card payments accurately
- Packing takeaway orders and checking items before dispatch
- Managing delivery platform orders
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front counter area
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status
- Updating customers on waiting times when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or takeaway preferred
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling payments
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Right to work in the UK
Working Hours
Flexible shifts available, including evenings and weekends.
