RWB Accounting & Tax is a growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Weymouth, Dorset, supporting a diverse range of individuals and businesses both locally and across the UK.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients and supporting them with their day-to-day accounting, tax and business needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
- Producing management accounts and supporting clients with financial information
- Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
- Communicating directly with clients and building strong, long-term relationships
- Supporting team members
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes, systems and tax efficiency
- Working closely with the directors on a broad range of client matters
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and enjoys building relationships with clients.
You may be AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified, qualified by experience or working towards a professional qualification. Most importantly, you will have solid experience working in an accountancy practice and be confident managing work independently.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience preparing accounts and tax returns within an accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
- A desire to contribute ideas and be part of a growing business
- The ability to work independently while also enjoying being part of a team
