Job Title: Line Chef
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Chef to join our culinary team. As a Line Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal planning according to recipes or chef's instructions
- Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently during service hours
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation while adhering to food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and quality food production
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Skills:
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to follow recipes precisely
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume setting
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
